The game is played like regular scrabble, but instead of using letters, players use numbers and operations. Point Values are assigned based on the complexity of the expression or equation formed. For example, you get 1 point for using numbers, 2 points for using addition and subtraction, 3 points for using variables (like x and y), 4 points for using multiplication and division, and 5 points for putting in an equal sign to solve your equation.
